Position Overview: The Insurance Agent & Financial Services Producer will be responsible for providing clients with insurance coverage options and financial planning services. This role involves selling and servicing insurance policies, as well as offering financial products and investment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both insurance and financial services, with a focus on client relationship management and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Insurance Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to evaluate their insurance needs and provide tailored recommendations for coverage options, including auto, home, health, life, and commercial insurance.
- Policy Sales: Sell insurance policies by explaining coverage details, benefits, and pricing, and manage the application and underwriting process.
- Customer Service: Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, claims, and any other inquiries related to their insurance coverage.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed about insurance industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes to effectively advise clients and identify business opportunities.
Financial Services Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Provide clients with comprehensive financial planning services, including retirement planning, investment strategies, and wealth management.
- Product Recommendations: Offer a range of financial products such as mutual funds, annuities, and other investment vehicles to meet clients’ financial goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide ongoing support and advice.
- Sales and Performance: Achieve sales targets for both insurance and financial services products, ensuring client satisfaction and business growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Licensing: Must possess or be willing to obtain necessary insurance licenses and financial services certifications as required by state or federal regulations.
- Experience: Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex insurance and financial concepts in an understandable manner.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing insurance and financial documentation.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance and financial services software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ethics: High level of integrity and professionalism in client interactions and business practices.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
